Alpha Film and Television Launches New Financing Company.

Alpha Film and Television (AFT) has officially launched a new financing company dedicated to empowering film and television productions across the UK and Australia. The initiative will provide a full spectrum of flexible funding solutions, supporting projects at every stage of production. Offerings include secured loans against tax credits, rebates, and pre-sales, as well as gap financing, bridge loans, finishing funds, and minimum guarantees. In select cases, AFT will also consider strategic equity investments.

AFT brings a modern, creator-focused perspective to entertainment financing and is backed by a leadership team with over 100 years of combined experience across media, finance, production, and technology. 

Andrew Low, AFT Chairman and former Global Head of Telecommunications, Media, Entertainment & Technology at Macquarie Capital, highlighted the company’s mission:

Co-founders Jon Hamm and Zack Sherman bring a wealth of cross-industry expertise to AFT. Hamm, a seasoned executive in multi-platform IP development and entertainment structuring, and Sherman, the former President of Flame Ventures and FOX based Zinc Media, are focused on closing the gap between creativity and commercial success.
